The air had finally cooled down and it was most definitely looking like rain. What a relief for sweltering Mumbai! Got home just in time before it started coming down. What do you make for dinner when you feel the seasons changing?

Had some baby shrimp (tip: buy bigger shrimp, they take lesser time to clean, grrrr), a couple of kinds of mushrooms, some Thai Green Curry paste in the fridge and coconut milk in the pantry. Threw these and some more things into a pot and made some Thai Shrimp, Coconut and Mushroom soup with three kinds of mushrooms. Spicy, creamy, warming and umami filled – tasted great with a generous squeeze of lime. Perfect dinner for that beautiful, rainy evening.
